A 17-year-old man is in hospital with serious head injuries following a hit and run incident in Glasgow city centre on Wednesday night.
He was hit by a vehicle while he was crossing St Vincent Street at Hope Street at around 11.10pm.
The teenager, who was out with a group of friends, was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and later transferred to the Southern General Hospital where he is being treated for head injuries.

A Palestinian man died Wednesday shortly after a Jewish settler ran over him in the West Bank, witnesses and Palestinian security sources said.
Mazen Al-Jamal, 50, was passing across a road in the south of Hebron before a speedy Israeli vehicle hit him, the witnesses said.
Meanwhile, security sources said the man died hours after being evacuated by an Israeli ambulance to an Israeli hospital.
