POX

I received an IDF press release in the email.

It arrived with this heading:

Can anyone inform me why there is any really good reason to call Dover Tzahal POX?

I know SPO = Spokesman's Office.

But why the X and doesn't anyone know that POX in any form is not the most positive thing to write about the IDF?
