Obama The Werewolf Killer or The Lone Ranger

I was just listening to President Barack Obama's interview on the BBC.

At about 45-50 seconds, he says, in connection with his upcoming speech in Egypt, that with the Muslim world's relationship with the West and the West's apprehension of the Muslim world, one speech is not going to do it and that "there are no silver bullets".

That rang a bell.

Back on May 4, 2008:

And my attitude when it comes to energy is there's no silver bullet.

Back in February 2009 again on energy:

"Right now, there are no silver bullets to solve all of our energy problems. We're going to have to try a whole range of things,"

Back in May 2009 on health reform:

“There’s no quick fix. There’s no silver bullet,” he said.

In 2005 on energy:

There's no silver bullet. A solution to our energy dilemma won't come overnight.

In April:

Now, this will not be easy. There aren't any silver bullets.

I'm sure you could find other references.

He even has his Press Spokesman mouthing it.

In January:

"that alone was not a magic or silver bullet for this economy"

So, is he the Lone Ranger or the Werewolf Killer?

In fact, do silver bullets exist?
