The new commander of the "Negev" reserve brigade is Yonatan Bransky.
He enlisted in 1989 as an infantryman in the Nahal and eventually became commander of the Infantry Professional School and also commander of the Hareidi (Netzah Yehuda Infantry) Batallion. His current rank is Colonel. He also was Chief Operations Officer of the Southern Command.
And what is unique is not only that he is religiously observant but that he is also command head of the Chief IDF Rabbinate.
