A Wedding But, First The Food Odyssey

Lisa Loeb, the singer and songwriter, and Roey Hershkovitz...were married Saturday evening at Brasserie 8 ½, a restaurant in New York. Rabbi Andy Bachman officiated.

Okay, so we have a Rabbi. What else?

Ms. Loeb and Mr. Hershkovitz met around Thanksgiving in 2006...By the end of their hourlong business meeting both concluded that because Ms. Loeb considers herself to be a “vegequarian” — which she defines as a vegetarian who eats fish, and, in her case, sometimes a bit of bacon — she might not be a match for the show’s broader culinary ambitions....That December they dined with friends on the Upper West Side, followed the next day by “a nondate” lunch date for two in Greenwich Village, where Ms. Loeb said they shared “a Fluffernutter” and also a concoction of peanut butter, banana, honey and bacon...

Bacon?

...next spring, both agreed that their timing was off. “Over a sad shrimp quesadilla, we realized that we really needed to break up,” Ms. Loeb said. “We were in different places in our lives.”

Shrimp?

...Mr. Hershkovitz proposed the next month in front of a fireplace at the Maritime Hotel. Ms. Loeb recalled the moment: “Billecart rosé salmon pink champagne; miniature Star Wars figurines...She added, “We celebrated with dinner at Scarpetta, over black pasta and every dessert, and then raced off to see AC/DC at Madison Square Garden.”

To each your own appetite.

Mazal Tov in any case!

To Anon: Haven't the faintest. if i do understand him, he wants me to get involved in the comments and dialoguing and chat-chat rather than just leave my posts, but 90% of my posts, while using sources, have original thoughts and insights, more than what he does on his blog so...

He posts more links than you so he's just being a hypocrite. Don't sweat it, I like your blog.
