Jonathan Lewis was married Saturday evening to Jonathan Michael Adler. Suellen Johnson, a friend of the couple, received permission from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to officiate at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in Chatham, Mass. Another friend, Charles Munitz, the president of Temple B’nai Brith in Somerville, Mass., took part in the ceremony, which included a Jewish blessing.

The one same-sex Jewish wedding I went to involved shevah brachot with only slight changes in the wording. It really isn't that difficult.
Dear Anon.:
"Sheva Brachot" are seven. That's why I asked "which one". One. I know of a relative that underwent a same-sex marriage and had a ketuba made up. I was curious as to what one blessing was uttered or did the NYTimes get it wrong. What one blessing meant the most to these two men who cannot procreate of themselves.
My guess is that either the NYTimes considers shevah brachot to be a single prayer or that the one blessing was birkat kohanim or something. I wouldn't read too much into it.
Is the potential for procreation halachically required in order to say shevah brachot?
