To Hike Or Not To

Check out the argumentation over whether David Rubin and Achikam Amichai should have been doing what they were doing and whether Rav Dov Li'or was right in his encouragement of hikes.

I don't think this is the right time for this conversation. People at this moment are deep in mourning and they do not have to be subject or tohear that people feel they had no right to hike.
My personal belief is that they were perfectly in the right and had they felt they were putting themselbves in real danger they would not have ventured out. Please check out the youtube that is posted at various sites of Hagaon Rav Ahron SOloveichik who says it like it is. His words can provide a little degree of comfort to all the mourners.

We should share in better news,

Joshua Nathan

PS People have every right to walk and hike in their backyard if we refrain from these type of activities we have haned the biggest victory to our sworn enemies. When will people learn that is we the JEws that want peace but we have no partner.
