Well, some has some sense:

Sheikh Raed Salah, the infamous leader of the northern branch of the Islamic Movement in Israel, has been arrested today, following calls he made to his followers last week, in which he urged them to block Jews from ascending the Temple Mount "with their bodies."

Israel Police spokesman Superintendent Mickey Rosenfeld announced via Twitter that Salah - who has served time in jail before for extremist activities - was arrested on charges of "incitement against Israel and regarding the Temple Mount," and is currently being questioned by police.

And the latest is that a court has decided that a distancing order of 30 kilometers from Jerusalem be applied to him for 180 days.

How Israel Should Deal with Raad Salah

As Britain does:

...he must adhere to strict conditions and his appeal to remain in the U.K. remains in question...Judge Nicholas Stadlen said that Salah would be granted bail on condition that he wear an electronic tag, observe a night-time curfew, report daily to immigration officials and stay at the home of a friend in London. The court added that they wanted to verify his London address before releasing him. The judge also banned Salah from "public speaking."

That, though, was not enough and was desribed so:

...a further blow...Salah, 52, who has been described in the House of Commons as 'virulently anti-Semitic', could be at large for months as the legal challenge makes its way through the courts...Strict conditions attached are understood to include a ban on public speaking. The Palestinian radical will also be fitted with an electronic tag and will have to comply with a 15-hour curfew between 6pm and 9am every night. He will also have to report to an immigration centre every day.

A Home Office spokesman said: 'We are very disappointed with the court's decision and will consider our options. We are still seeking to deport Salah.' Salah was invited to speak in Britain in late June by a group of left-wing Labour MPs.

Of course, some of us had praised the UK and wondered why Israel couldn't act similarly, like Moshe Arens for after all

According to the final report, Salah was guilty of "transmission of messages that negated the legitimacy of the existence of the State of Israel and presenting the state as an enemy ... he had a substantial contribution to provoking tempers and the violent and widespread outburst that took place in the Arab sector at the beginning of October 2000."

He has subsequently been convicted of raising funds for Hamas and of having had contact with an Iranian intelligence agent. In 2009 he accused Jews of using children's blood to bake bread, and in 2010 he joined Turkish terrorists on the Mavi Marmara ship.

The watchdogs over Israel's democracy, the government, the Knesset, the High Court, seem to have fallen asleep while Ra'ad Salah continues with his nefarious activities inciting against the State of Israel - sowing seeds of dissent between Israel's Arab and Jewish citizens, providing support to Israel's enemies and attempting to undermine the very foundations of the state.

It is high time that our lawmakers put a stop to these dangerous activities. A democratic society must know how to defend itself.

Others Can Disappear, Too, Sheikh

The head of the Islamic Movement's northern branch Sheikh Raad Salah - soon to be indicted for incitement against the State – also declared the shooter to be a shahid when speaking at the funeral.

"If the Israeli establishment thought to send a message of fear with this murder, we will stomp on this murder. We need to remember that there were many invaders (in this land) and they all disappeared," he added.
