The Kenyon Institute hosted an event
It was even publicized here. And I attended.
Emek Shaveh, co-sponsor, has quite radical opinions on Jerusalem. With funds from the EU, they can afford it.
The event was largely uneventful, at the beginning.
of Save Lifta was not outlandish and made an almost academic presentation.
After the first speaker, Yonatan Mizrachi made a presentation of a general nature, actually:
And then the third speaker began and it became clearer that the real underlying theme was Lifta.
And Patzrizi Riganti really became shrill
and intimated that Israel was guilty of a "war crime" in its dealing with Lifta.
I wonder if she had any idea of the war crimes of Lifta's residents?
Here are some clippings I collected:
All murderous attacks targeting civilians.
