Low-Intensity Conflict Report August 3, 2012
These reports are translated and publicized by Yehudit Tayar for Hatzalah Yehudah and Shomron with the clearance and confirmation of the IDF. Hatzalah Yehudah and Shomron is a voluntary emergency medical organization with over 500 volunteer doctors, paramedics, medics who are on call 24/7 and work along with the IDF, 669 IAF Airborn Rescue, the security officers and personal throughout Yesha and the Jordan Valley, and with MDA.
In the last few days hundreds of violent attacks were directed against IDF patrols, Border Police and civilians by Arab terrorists with rocks, fire bombs, Molotov Cocktails, rocks put on the road to force the vehicles to stop. Security forces have responded to these murderous attacks using restraint.

IDF allows us to release the following:
Anti-tank fire from Gaza against IDF patrol on the Security Fence. We will not disclose the exact location for reasons of security.
Near Emanuel Junction a female resident of Kedumim reported that an Arab car forced her off of the road probably in order to steal her car. When an Arab man got out of the car that forced her off of the road she succeeded in escaping into the Jewish community.

IDF allows us to release: IDF and Security Forces arrested 2 Arab terror cells in the Hebron region tht have been attempting to murder Jews. The terrorists threw a block hitting the head of an adult Jewish man in the Tel Romeida spring injuring him. The terrorists threw a block at an Israeli car while driving on the Gush Etzion-Hebron Highway from a moving car.

A number of Mortars were fired from Gaza on IDF patrol near the Security Fence south-west of Kissufim. The IDF returned fire.
Rock attacks by Arabs against Israeli vehicles:
Benjamin Region: Israeli bus attacked near T-Junction causing damage.
Near Arab village of Sinjil causing damage to the windows of a car.
