Don't You Just Love Democracy?

Hizb ut-Tahrir, founded in the early 1950s by a Palestinian judge dissatisfied with the Muslim Brotherhood, has existed in Britain for a number of years and remains legal in other Western countries, including the United States. But it is banned in a number of Muslim countries, particularly those — including Egypt, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia — that feel vulnerable to its calls for the overthrow of their governments.

The group was banned by the German Interior Ministry in 2003 for “spreading hate and violence,” under a chapter in Germany’s Constitution that is often used to clamp down on anti-Semitism. Hizb ut-Tahrir is appealing the ban.

Their "solution" for the Israel-Palestine conflict:-

Only by a return to an Islamic state that existed for centuries can both justice and security be regained for all. Why is this?

1. Two states would further separate Jews, Muslims and Christians, entrenching division between communities and families. It is a classic divide and rule policy that imperial regimes have implemented in the past and it is not surprising that both President Bush and Prime Minister Blair now support such a solution.

2. Allowing Israel to keep occupied land from 1948 would reward aggression and the ethnic cleansing that took place shortly after.

3. According to demographic trends, Muslims will outnumber Jews in 10 years or so and polls have clearly shown their preference for Islamic rule and hence a rejection of the so called 'roadmap' which would hand most of Palestine including Jerusalem to the Israelis.

4. A ‘Palestinian state’ that is being suggested, created out of the remnants of pre-1967 borders, is not a viable state; it will have no real resources, no real sovereignty and would be reliant on Israel for its survival. Such a state would also be a betrayal of the memories of Umar bin al-Khattab, Salahuddin and those who stood up for the holiest of lands against the tyranny of other foreign invasions.

Of course many in Israel and their right wing supporters abroad will oppose such a solution but tens of millions today including many Jews oppose the status quo and the proposed flawed two state model. Yet Jews, Muslims and Christians lived largely in peace and security under an Islamic government for much of the last fourteen centuries in Palestine, in Islamic Spain and under the Ottoman Caliphate. Unlike Israel’s neo-apartheid system, an Islamic state is not a racial state and would not treat non-Muslims as second class citizens. Muhammad (saw) made this very clear when he said, "He who abuses a dhimmi [non-Muslim citizen] then I will be his rival and dispute him on the Day of Judgment."

...the one state solution of the Islamic Caliphate is now the only viable option for delivering security for Jews, Christians and Muslims of the region. Allah asks the believers to stand up for justice and to enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. That, dear brothers and sisters, is our duty and our call!

So, while Muslim countries are scared out of their minds, Britain doesn't really care.

This reminds of Political Correctness.

You know, the doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition
that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
