Yikes! Another 'Settlement' Expected?
Well, it reads that way in the NYTimes:-
but it's a story on
Okay, everyone relax.
No abuse of "Palestinianism". No in-your-face-Obama. No who-the-heck-are-you-EU.
Just another American economic matter.

Banking regulators [who] are said to be close to a $10 billion settlement with 14 banks that would end the government’s efforts to hold lenders responsible for foreclosure abuses.

An Obama Jerusalem Joke
This joke arrived in my mailbox but I'm altering it:
Obama visits Israel. But unfortunately, while ascending to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, he suffers a fatal heart attack.
Shocked, the officials accompanying begin discussing the funeral arrangements.
The local Hevre Kadisha head, seeing the possibilities, offers to have the President interred locall for a very special price. He tells the US diplomats, "To bury him here in the Holy Land would be so special and I can do it cheap."
The US diplomats go into a huddle and come back to the undertaker and tell him they still want Obama flown home.
The undertaker is puzzled and asks: "Why would you spend so much money on shipment and arrangements in the US when it would be wonderful to be buried here in and it would cost not that much at all?"
One diplomat replied: "2,000 years ago a man died here, was buried here, and three days later he rose from the dead. We can't take that chance."

Satire on Arabs Killing Arabs (Is Nothing Sacred?)
Is anti-Arab satire allowed?
Like this:-
P.S. I'm working on another which needs to be adapted.

UN deadlocked over Arab-killing rights
THE United Nations Security Council remains deadlocked over which countries are allowed to kill Arab civilians.
Russia and China have vetoed a plan which would have stopped Syrian President Bashar al-Assad shelling the city of Homs, setting a dangerous precedent of allowing Arabic leaders to kill their own people and threatening Western domination of the Arab extermination market.
Experts believe the veto signals a challenge to the long-held British and American monopoly of Arab slaughter and that the Chinese now plan to move aggressively into this lucrative field.
A US State Department spokesman said: "Ten years ago it was the French trying to stop our invasion of Iraq, which has since proved to be an unprecedented, decade-long bloodbath of success.
"Now we're supposed to watch Arabs murdered in the streets by guns, mortars, and rockets at the hands of the Syrian Army when they could be humanely executed by remote control. And we're not even sure they're killing the right Arabs."
A Foreign Office spokesman said: "We've been killing Arabs since the 11th Century and all of a sudden we're supposed to ask for permission? Are we supposed to ask for permission to go to the toilet as well?"
The US spokesman added: "We have to fight constantly for Israel's right to kill any Arabs that look at them funny, and now this.
"Sometimes I wonder if the UN wants us to kill any Arabs at all."
P.S. I'm working on another which needs to be adapted.
Soon.

Getting Insanely Inebriated at J Street
From an AP Sacramento story:
^
...cops say Calvin Hubbard sneaked into the women's restroom at the Coconut Grove Sports Bar and Grill along J Street. He hid there until the bar closed for the night...After everyone had left, Hubbard allegedly helped himself to the alcohol behind the bar. Cops say he drank heavily and fell asleep...woke up early Wednesday morning [and] stumbled around the closed bar and found his way to the freezer for some ice cream.
There is a burglar alarm on the bar's fridge and freezer.
After eating, Hubbard fell back asleep on an employee couch. That's where Corpuz and cops found him sleeping with his shoes off around 9 a.m.

Was Israel Responsible for Arab Injury?
I was wondering, after reading about this incident of rocket fire:
since if Israel hadn't been existing, and therefore, the cause of the rocket being fired, could Israel therefore be responsible for her injury?
I mean, after all, this is the Arab Middle East mentality and that would be the logical conclusion, no?
^
A woman was injured after a rocket fired in southern Lebanon landed in a Lebanese village near the border with Israel, a senior security official told AFP.
The Katyusha rocket, fired from Lebanon's Bent Jbail valley, landed in the village of Hula, Lebanon near the border with Israel, said the official...

Day of the Dead at J Street
Really. In Sacramento:-
You just never know what J Street has in store for you.
^
La Raza GalerÃa Posada (LRGP) once again gathered 50 organizations, artists and community members at their annual Panteón de Sacramento (Sacramento’s Cemetery). The event is in commemoration of DÃa de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).
La Raza GalerÃa Posada is located at 1022-1024 22nd Street. This year the event moved down the street to 1015 20th Street at J Street.
The event was held on the last Saturday and Sunday of October and had many more hands on activities for visitors. The two day and evening festivities displayed altars dedicated to family members and loved ones who have passed away....Roberto Lopez, from LRGP, served as emcee and conducted tours during the event to give more information about the meaning of altars and DÃa de los Muertos. For readers not familiar with the event DÃa de los Muertos is a traditional Meso-American holiday dedicated to ancestors honoring both death and life.
You just never know what J Street has in store for you.
