Convoy of Arab cars with flags drove towards Kiryat Arba

Bet Umar roadblock by Arabs causing damage to cars and an Arab woman was accidently injured lightly from rocks thrown at her.

6 Molotov cocktails thrown at IDF force near El Arub

During the night 20:00 5 Israelis slightly injured near Bet Umar treated by IDFMedical Force and evacuated to Shaare Zedek Hospital Jerusalem

Arab from Kalkilia stole vehicle from Petach Tikva and attempted to escape through a Police check–post hitting into a car driven by a pregnant woman causing light injuries. She was evacuated to Tel Ha Shomer Hospital with serious injuries

Rantis- Following Arab gang riots an injured Arab was brought to the the check-post suffering serious injuries from 3 bullets from a hunting rifle.  He was evacuated to Belinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah

Border police patrol attacked by rocks near Atzira A-Kablia near Yitzhar  1 Border policeman injured in his leg and given medical assistance at spot

Arabs ignited vineyard belonging to Jews near Bracha, residents of Givat Ronen extinguished the flames.  As a result of the fire there was friction between the fire fighters and the Arabs who set the blaze

Gush Etzion-Hevron Highway south of Carmei Zur rock attacks causing damage to Arab truck that was on the road with Israeli vehicles

Terrorists threw 2 explosive devices at Kever Rachel during the Shabbat – 1 exploded in the parking lot and 1 inside Arab controlled territory

Israeli car damaged in Bet Umar

Residents of Neria are demonstrated against the attacks on the road recently.  A number of Arabs armed with rocks and rods attacked them and 2 of the Israelis were injured in the head.

Between Nachliel and Neve Zuf rock attacks causing damage to several vehicles in the windows and sides

Rock attacks between the Postmans junction and Na'aleh causing damage to several vehicles

Luban A'Shrakia Egged  bus attacked near the school north-west of Ramallah

IDF patrol attacked from Mizra El Kabliah north of Ramallah

Aharon Zaltkin who was injured in his head from the Arabs near Neria hospitalized is in serious condition with head injuries: fractured skull.  He was operated on. Please pray for Aharon ben Golda.

Hizma Junction- taxi stolen 2 Arabs stunned the drive with an electric shocker.  Police report: the 2 passengers entered the taxi when it stopped to fill gas at the gas station at Hizma.  No medical assistance needed

Bottle of paint thrown at bus on Gush Etzion-Hevron Highway near Bet Umar.  No injuries, the bus continued to Kiryat Arba.

Cross Judean Highway rock attacks near Halhul Bridge, and in Southern Hevron Hills near Eshtmoa; near T-Junction causing damage, another attack from school at Luban A-Shrakia north-west of Ramallah; near the old industrial area of Kiryat Arba cars attacked by rocks

IDF Force caught 3 terrorists between Migdal Oz and Bet Fa'jar carrying improvised weapons and a knife

Continuous attacks on Gush Etzion-Hevron Highway near El Arub Refugee Camp.



This is a partial report of the on-going terror attacks against Israel. April 26-May 5 2013

·        The most horrible incident was the brutal murder of Eviatar Brovsky HY"D , father of 5 wo was murdered in a stabbing and shooting incident at the Tapuah Junction by a terrorist.

·        2 explosive devices against Border Police Force at Abu Dis

·        Shooting attack with no injuries at Ein Kelt

·        Shooting attack on Highway 55 near Nebe Alias with no injuries

·        2 illegal Arabs drove in a stolen vehicle in a dangerous and wild manner in Netanya and caused an accident.  2 policemen were injured lightly and moderately in the accident.

Hatzalah Security Headquarters reported this past week: at least 10 security personal and 3 civilians were wounded from rock attacks:

Details: Officer and soldier injured at Zurif. 3 officers and 4 soldiers at Bet Umar and El Arub, Border policeman at Kadum

During the week the attempted murder of Jews continued with the Molotov attacks in at least 30 incidents : 4 thrown at IDF post at El ARub, 1 at IDF force at Hirbat Alia near Efrat, 1 at IDF post at Bet Umar, 10 towards IDF force at Zurif, 9 at Border police at Abu Dis, 2 Abud bypass, 1 at IDF reserve soldier between Negohot and Shekef, 2 between the Postman Junctin and Zit Raanan

South: 1 rocket in kibbutz in Sdot Negev Regional Council, 3 rockets fell near kibbutzim in Eshkol Regional Council, 5 failed attacks which landed inside of the Gaza Strip, IAF attacked terror base and war material storage place in Southern Gaza Strip, Joint operation of IDF and Security Forces in Gaza to eliminate active terrorist in the International Jihad Terror Organization who was involved in the rocket attacks on Eilat

3 Jewish youth were attacked by Arabs in Hevron, and anarchists attacked soldiers

As usual Israeli buses and cars with passengers who include women and children were attacked in the usual places and by miracle no injuries were reported

Judean Region: Cross Judean Highway near Bet Kachil, in the Chursa triangle, and at El Fuar, near the Jewish Cemetery in Hevron, near Yattir, ambulance attacked nea Shani

Etzion Region: Hirbat Alia, IDF force attacked aat Sehaysha Refugee Camp, several attacks between El Hadar and northern entrance to Efrat, near Har Gilo, Tekoa-Har Homa Highway

Shomron Region: Pundak, Between Sh'are Tikva and Oranit, Hawara, Highway 5 near La-zaviay, Bet Foruk, Kadum

Security Fence attacked by rocks near Etz Ephraim

Benjamin Region; Between Na'aleh and Postman Junction, several attacks near Maccabim, Betilu Junction dozens of Arabs attacked causing damage to several vehicles, near Ma'ale Levona, Anata, north of Rimonim, Alon Road, Yabrud near Ophra, Nebe Elias, Bal'ayin, and Na'alin

Also during the past week the volunteer emergency medics of Hatzalah Yehudah Shomron and the Jordan Valley along with MDA and the IDF Medic Corps and with the Security Departments of Kirayt Arba, Southern Hevron Hills, Efrat, Etzion, Shomron and Benjamin took care of injured in both accidents and terror incidents involving both Jews and Arabs.

Partial report of volunteer services: terror attack at Tapuah Junction, 2 injured in car accident in Kiryat Arba when car overturned, Arab car overturned in accident at Bet Anun during criminal act of kidnapping between Arabs, Israeli Arab injured in self- caused accident in U.N. vehicle near Herodian, Rachelim Junction fatal accident causing the death of a Arab woman and 6 injured , 2 injured from car crash in canyon near Barkan, Arab child injured from car near Abed check-post in Hevron, car accident with trapped at Nebe Ellias, 2 Israeli Arabs injured, 2 Arabs and 1 Jew injured in accident and over-turned car near T Junction in Etzion, 6 year old Arab child suffered amputation of the hand in Southern Hevron Hills, infant fell from height in Modi'in and sadly passed away and dozens of additional incidents that we are unable to report publicly.

According to a report issued by the Israel Security Agency, during April 2013 126 attacks were carried out in Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem (as opposed to 122 in March).[4] Most of the attacks (99) involved Molotov cocktails, 26 involved IEDs and there was one stabbing attack that also involved gunfire (Israel Security Agency website, May 6, 2013).

Acts of Violence in Judea and Samaria Continue

• This past week there again were violent confrontations between Palestinians and Israeli security forces at the traditional friction points. Following the stabbing at the Tapuah Junction there was an increase in friction between Israeli settlers and Palestinians.
• Two incidents were particularly glaring:

• On May 2 shots were fired at Israelis on a tour of the Ein Prat Nature Reserve near the Jericho lookout point. At approximately 20:00 hours a group of Israelis saw someone suspicious approaching. They hurried back to their vehicle and as they drove away shots were fired at them. The police arrived on the scene and searched the area (Ynet, May 2, 2013).
• On May 4 a riot broke out between Israeli settlers and Palestinians near the Doar Junction, south of Talmon (northwest of Ramallah) when the Israeli settlers arrived to hold a protest against the stones thrown at Israeli vehicles. Palestinians came from the neighboring villages, threw stones at the Israelis and attacked them with clubs. Israeli security forces arrived at the site and separated the rioters. A dozen people were wounded. One, an Israeli, was seriously injured (Ynet, May 5, 2013).

The week of February 8, 2013 this is a report of the situation on the ground during that week.

Shomron Region:  As a result of Arabs attacking with rocks 3 Israeli civilians were injured.  1 near Yitzhar, 1 Israeli woman injured from glass shrapnel near Ma'aleh Shomron, 1 pregnant woman injured near Azun.

6 IDF soldiers injured:

1 Border policeman injured from rocks near Bourin was evacuated with possible broken thigh, 1 IDF soldier injured also in the same incident and was given medical attention on the location.

1 IDF soldier injured in his leg from rock attacks near El Arub on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Highway.

1 IDF soldier injured from rocks at Bourdus north-east of Ramallah.

2 IDF  soldiers injured from rocks at Harmelah and 1 IDF female soldier injured from rocks thrown by "Israeli Arabs" on a bus near Kfar Chabad.

Israeli cab driver injured in his arm by stabbing attack during robbery of his car near Ariel.

VERY SERIOUS INCIDENT: Near Ma'aleh Shomron Arabs robbed a vehicle of a 5 month pregnant woman.  This incident could have resulted in an abduction of the woman in order to release terrorists from Israeli prisons.

Jerusalem:  Stabbing incident; Arab from Hevron stabbed young Israeli who was holding a prayer book next to his body, by miracle the book was stabbed and not the young Jew.  The terrorist was arrested and the weapon was found on him.

Hevron:  Female Arab terrorist with knives on her person was arrested near the Cave of the Patriarchs on her way to perpetrate a terror incident against Israelis.

Near the village of Bet Fa'jar shots were heard.  Recently there have been several incidents of shootings in the region and the Security Forces have made several arrests of a number of terrorists.

Bakaot checkpost: 3 explosive devices and 3 fake explosive devices were caught at the checkpost.

Near Kever Rachel a Pipe Bomb was detonated by the Bomb Squad.

Hevron: 1 Molotov attack against IDF patrol.

By miracle no injuries in all of the attacks.

This week the Security Forces revealed that a Terror gang of the Jihad who planned terror incidents and kidnappings were arrested

We are allowed to release the following information: A Terror gang who were involved in the shooting incident near Neve Zuf was apprehended and arrested.

A Terror gang who were involved in the attack on IDF soldier in the A-Ram Camp and stole his weapon were apprehended and arrested

The Terror gang who shot at the Salam Base were caught and arrested.

Jerusalem: Rocks thrown from the Temple Mt. towards Mugrabbi Gate.  Israeli police entered the area to restore order.

Jerusalem: The Temple Mt.

Near the Iron Gate an Arab who was caught throwing rocks was arrested.  On his body he was found carrying a concealed knife.  During the arrest the terrorist attempted to attack the policemen.

Between Efrat and Tekoa Arabs attacked Israeli vehicles with rocks.

Ramat Migron:

Dozens of Arabs climbed and attacked 5 Israelis resulting in the injury of one of the Israelis in his face. IDF responded.

October 4, 2012

6 Molotov cocktails and rocks thrown at the Qalandia checkpost.

4 Molotov cocktails, a glass bottle of oil and rocks were thrown at Israeli  vehicles near El Moyir.

Israeli hikers were attacked by Arabs with rocks in Adora Stream.

Rocket attack from Gaza hits inside the Ashkelon Regional Council.

October 3, 2012

I have military clearance to report:

2 –Israeli Arabs were arrested by an IDF undercover unit for dealing and selling weapons and ammunition.  The 2 were caught in Bet Hanina with a gun in their possession.

500 meter from the Israeli-Syrian border near Mt. Hermon armed personal were seen and the Israeli tourists were removed from the area in order to protect them in case of an outbreak of violence or attempted infiltration.

Between Kiryat Arba and the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hevron, Israeli bus was attacked by Arabs with rocks causing damage to the windshield.

MICU (Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance) attacked by Arabs between Kiryat Arba and Hevron causing light damage.

3 Molotov Cocktails thrown at Israeli vehicle at the junction between Dolev and Talmon in the Benjamin Regional Council.


Arabs attacked Israeli vehicle driven by a resident of Kedumim with rocks near the Yitzhar junction causing damage to the car.

Infiltrators from Gaza: 3 young Arab boys infiltrated from the Gaza Strip.  They were apprehended near the Security Fence close to Netiv Ha'Asara.

Attempted terror attack by stabbing prevented at Hizma Checkpoint.  An armed terrorist with a concealed knife in his jacket aroused the suspicion of the Border police who overcame him, found and removed the knife.  The terrorist admitted to planning a terror attack by stabbing with the knife.

IDF spokesman allows us to release:

"Kfir unit" of the IDF exposed a stock of weapons and ammunition south-west of Hevron.  In Refugee Camp Alfuar a suspect was arrested in his possession a short M-16 rifle was found and in El Hadar a Kaluchnikov rifle was found along with ammunition.

A number of mortars landed in Ramat Hagolan in the orchards of Elrom.

Arabs attack Israeli vehicles with rocks near Azun in the Karnei Shomron region.

The Kever Rachel area was closed and all of the people who came to pray at the Tomb were taken inside after Arabs attacked the Jews who came to pray with rocks .

Israeli Fire Truck that went into Shoafat Refugee Camp in order to extinguish a fire that had broken out there was attacked by Arabs with rocks.  Israeli police that responded to the attack were also attacked by Arabs with rocks.

September 23, 2012

Israeli police spokesman allows us to release:

Arabs attacked Israeli vehicles with rocks near Karnei Shomron at Azun causing damage.

2 Arabs penetrated Kiryat Arba and stole a horse from the Federman farm. After a chase the thieves hid inside a house in the neighborhood.

Moslem Quarter in Jerusalem: Israeli Arab in the Av El Choteh neighborhood near the "Gate of the Flowers" was arrested.  In his house 2 guns were found, materials for preparation of explosive devices, and Hamas flags.

During the night an armed Arab was arrested in the Southern Hevron Hills carrying a knife.  He confessed to planning a terror attack with the knife.

Near Tekoa in the Gush Etzion region 1 moderately injured in face from rock attack by Arabs.  The driver refused medical assistance and reported the attack to IDF.

Jerusalem: the Old City Arab woman terrorist attempted to stab Israeli policeman.

During the night hours 3 Molotov cocktails were thrown at IDF post at Shuafat.

Betuniya south of Ramallah dozens of Arabs rioted and threw Molotov Cocktails and rocks at Border Policemen.  One of the border police was lightly injured in his leg and given medical assistance on the location.

Several rockets fired from Gaza landing near the Security Fence in the Zikim region, and fired towards Ashkelon.  IDF return fire.

August 5, 2012

Near Kerem Shalom on the Egyptian-Israeli border large forces of IDF and high alert called also inside of the communities in the area following information regarding terror attack in armored vehicle breaking through the security fence.

Arab terrorists attacked an Egyptian military post murdering 10 Egyptian Border policemen.  The terrorists stole 2 Armored bullet proof vehicles and sped towards the Security Fence. 1 vehicle exploded and the second was blown up by IAF.

Arabs attack ambulance, bus and Border Police on the way to the Kotel resulting in 3 lightly injured Israelis.

IAF attacked terrorist positions in Rafiah in Gaza resulting in the elimination of 1 terrorist.

IDF spokesman allows us to release the following information: the attack in Gaza was a joint operation of the Secret Service and IDF against the  World Jijad Terror Organization which was involved in the terror incident on the Israeli-Egyptian Border on June 18, 2012,and were planning additional terror attacks against Israel.

Rocket fire against Israel from Gaza landed in the Yeted region. IDF returned fire.

Shots fired from Egyptian side of the Israeli-Egyptian Border resulting in hit on the windshield of a tractor  of one of the contractors working on the Security separation fence.

In the last few days hundreds of violent attacks were directed against IDF patrols, Border Police and civilians by Arab terrorists with rocks, fire bombs, Molotov Cocktails, rocks put on the road to force the vehicles to stop.  Security forces have responded to these murderous attacks using restraint.

July 24, 2012

Rocket fire from Gaza towards the industrial area of Ashkelon "Iron Helmet" succeeded in preventing the hit over Kibbutz Zikim .

Israeli bus and vehicles repeatedly attacked by Arabs with rocks near El Arub on the Gush Etzion-Hebron Highway causing damage.

Arabs attacked Israeli vehicles with rocks between Tapuach and Rachelim in the Shomron.  A woman resident of Migdalim suffered anxiety attack due to the violence directed against the Israeli travelers and was treated in the community.

About 10 Arabs attacked an Israeli young boy on his bicycle while he rode inside of the Jewish community of Hebron near "Police Square" injuring him.  IDF took over the incident.

July 26, 2012

Arab woman terrorist stopped by Border Police near the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron after she acted suspiciously.  The terrorist pulled out pepper gas and sprayed towards the Border policemen, who were not injured.  Found in her possessions was a weapon that she admitted to planning to use in a terror attack against Jews.

About 10 Arabs attacked an Israeli young boy on his bicycle while he rode inside of the Jewish community of Hebron near "Police Square" injuring him.  IDF took over the incident.

Massive rock attacks on the Gush Etzion-Hebron Highway near Bet Umar causing damage to vehicles. Crowds of Arabs blocked the highway in both directions.  The IDF went in to restore order.  The Arabs circled and attacked the military force and 1 of the Arabs was arrested by the army.  A large number of IDF soldiers protected the road and restored order ensuring the travel on both sides of the road.

Near Neve Zuf at Nebi Zalach Arab crowds threw rocks and attacked Israeli vehicles.  IDF went in to disperse the Arab attackers.

Near El Arub on the Gush Etzion-Hebron Highway Arabs attacked Israeli vehicles including a bus with rocks.

Haramia Valley north of the British police Junction in the Benjamin Region, Arabs attacked Israeli vehicles with rocks.

443 Highway near the Dor Gas Station 3 Molotov cocktails were thrown on Israeli cars.  The Arab terrorists also lit a pipe bomb on the highway.

Arabs from the village Betin attacked Israeli vehicles with rocks between the T-Junction and Ophra in the Benjamin region.  Several vehicles were damaged.

During the night an Israeli driver reached the check post at Maccabim on Highway 443 with his head injured and reported that he had picked up 2 hitch hikers who then attacked him with a glass bottle and attempted to steal his car.  He was evacuated to Sha'are Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem with moderate injuries to his head.

Arabs threw rocks and attacked workers on the security fence in the Southern Hebron Hills near the community of Eshkolot. 1 worker was moderately wounded from the attack.  IDF went in to end the violent attacks. 1 Arab injured as a result of the attack and refused medical care.

Israeli Police arrested 2 Arabs from Issowiya who are involved in the recent fires around Jerusalem near Mt. Scopus and the fire that was caused as a result of fireworks that were shot off towards Opharit Military Base resulting in the injury of 13 IDF soldiers from smoke inhalation.  They were remanded to extended custody for further investigation.

Shechem: During the night hours the IDF and security gave permission to enter the Tomb of Joseph.  A happy group of over 1200 Jews entered the Tomb.  The Arabs attacked with rocks near Balata resulting in the injury of an IDF soldier who was evacuated in a military vehicle to a hospital.  Gunfire was directed also from a distance but no injuries.

The terrorists had activated an explosive device against 2 vehicles belonging to contractors working on the security fence.  One of the vehicles fell into a ditch after which the terrorists shot and murdered the worker.  Shots were fired on the second vehicle but missed.  IDF eliminated 1 of the terrorists and 1 terrorist was blown up by explosive device he carried on him.
Bet Hanun Gaza Strip: IDF hit terror cell that was preparing to launch missile attack against Israel. 2 terrorists eliminated and 3 injured.

An IDF Force Discovers IEDs

There has recently been an increase in attempts to smuggle improvised weapons through Israeli security forces checkpoints:

•On April 24 (Memorial Day eve) four IEDs were seized at the Beqaot checkpoint. In the late afternoon two Palestinians arrived at the checkpoint (located north of Jericho and east of Nablus) carrying a suspicious bag. Soldiers stationed at the checkpoint inspected the bag and found four IEDs. The two Palestinians were apparently taken by car from the Nablus region and left near the checkpoint, which they wanted to pass through on foot.

•On the evening of April 28 an IDF force stationed at the Hawara checkpoint (south of Nablus) stopped a Palestinian with two IEDs on his person. He was taken for questioning. The two IEDs were detonated by an explosives expert.

I have been republishing Yehudit Tayar's reports on terror attacks taken from the logs of the ambulance and emergency services units and I have entitled them Low Intensity Conflict.  Here is #10.

Overview

Rocket fire from the Gaza Strip targeting Israel's south continues (one rocket hit identified this past week); a yeshiva student was stabbed in Jerusalem, apparently for nationalistic reasons; two Palestinians from Nablus were detained at the Tapuach junction (south of Nablus) with four IEDs, a gun and ammunition in their possession.

On April 17 the Israeli prime minister met with a delegation of Palestinians who brought him a letter from Mahmoud Abbas. Salam Fayyad, the Palestinian prime minister, did not attend the meeting because relations between him and Mahmoud Abbas have become strained. Hamas denounced the letter and called on the Palestinian Authority to end its "useless contacts" with Israel.

The Palestinians have begun preparations for the May 15 marking of Nakba Day. Demonstrations and marches are planned for the territories and along Israel's borders.

Rocket Fire Targeting the Western Negev

Rocket fire from the Gaza Strip targeting the western Negev continues. One rocket hit was identified in an open area. There were no casualties and no damage was done.

Infiltration from the Sinai Peninsula along the Israeli-Egyptian Border Prevented

On the afternoon of April 23 an IDF force engaged in routine security operations along the Israeli-Egyptian border identified a suspicious vehicle driving along the security fence and called to the vehicle to halt. When the driver and passengers ignored the order, the force opened fire. A number of suspicious persons were wounded and were taken to a hospital in Israel for treatment (IDF Spokesman, April 23, 2012).

Stabbing in Jerusalem

On April 19 in Jerusalem a 20 year-old yeshiva student was stabbed in the stomach, incurring serious wounds. Two young Arab men were detained as suspects. The initial investigation revealed that the motive for the attack was apparently nationalistic.

Other Events in Judea and Samaria

On April 21 Israel border policemen saw two Palestinians about 17 years old alighting from a taxi at the Tapuach junction (south of Nablus), carrying a suspicious-looking bag. The policemen ordered them to halt but the two turned and ran. The youths, both residents of the Balata refugee camp near Nablus, were found to be carrying four IEDs, a gun and ammunition (Israel Border Police Spokesman, April 21, 2012).

Stone Throwing

There has recently been a rise in the number of stones and Molotov cocktails thrown at Israeli vehicles south of Jerusalem in the Gush Etzion district; on April 19 there were five such attacks. In one instance Palestinian youths threw stones and rocks at an Israel car at the Gush Etzion junction. One of the rocks hit the car and shattered the front windshield. Riding in the car were a couple and their two-year old son (Ynet, April 20, 2012).

April 20, 2012


Large masses of anarchists and Arabs attacking IDF troops with rocks in Na'alin, Nebe Zalach, and kadum. 1 Border Policeman injured moderately at Nebe Zalach and 3 agitators arrested.

About 20 Arabs accompanied by groups of anarchists and photographers demonstrated in attempt to cause provocations inside Gal neighborhood in Kiryat Arba Hebron. Large numbers of Israeli security dispersed them.

April 21, 2012

Two 17 year old Arab terrorists were apprehended by Border Police near the Tapuach Junction.  In their possession were found 4 pipe bombs, pistol and knife.  The explosive devices were safely detonated by the security forces.

April 22, 2012


Haramia Valley north of the British Police Junction heavy rock attacks against Israeli vehicles causing damage to Israeli bus and at least 4 vehicles.
