Action Call - Make Our Roads Safe

Noting:

STONES KILL- DON'T BE THE NEXT VICTIM!

Today Tuesday we will patrol the Efrat-Nokdim road (details below) New signs have been put up all over Judea in Hebrew and Arabic urging all drivers to drive safely "because on the road , we are all equal". But that does not seem the case. Asher and Jonathan Palmer HY"D were brutally murdered by Arab who threw stones in a drive-by car stoning. This seems to be the new tactic for Arab terror against Jews in our area. After the security forces lied and tried to pretend that the Palmers had been killed in a car crash and not in a terror attack, they were forced to admit it was terror. That is when we also found out that in the previous days no less than 18 complaints to the police had been made by Jews in Judea who had been attacked in a similar way.

If we thought that the murder of Asher and Jonathan would push the security forces to increase the deterrence against Arabs, sadly that is not the situation. It is with shock and horror that we woke up this morning reading the news about Rabbi Yaron Durani from Nokdim who was attacked last night by Arabs in a similar way; his front windshield was smashed . Thank G-d he wasn’t hurt too badly. In addition, two more Jews were attacked too. The Arabs want us to capitulate to terror. The Left is already wringing its hands in pleasure saying: "we told you that if we don’t capitulate there will be terror". The media is collaborating with the Arab enemy, inviting terror, marches against yishuvim and funerals.

We the residents of Judea and Samaria know the script all too well. Our determined stand has prevented the Land of Israel to be abandoned. The residents of Judea and Samaria are the defensive shield protecting all of Israel. We will continue to stand firm defending our homeland. We will not agree to return to the stone-age. We must put a stop to the Arab stone throwing before another funeral G-d forbid.

TODAY, TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 27th at 5:00pm we will patrol The Efrat- Nokdim road with a car convoy We will demand from the government of Israel to apply Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria, to expand the Jewish settlements, to build, and to knock out ,once and for all Arab terror with heavy punishments to the terrorists.

Departure from Efrat southern gate: 5:00 pm
Departure from Tekoa on main road: 5:15pm
Departure from Nokdim gate: 5:20 pm

Jews Delivering Humanitarian Aid to...Jews in Hebron

Women in Green report:

Federman family [9 children] and the Tor family [5 children] were thrown out of their beds in only their nightwear [last Saturdau night]. The destruction reminds us of the destruction of Gush Katif 3 years ago, and then the destruction & violence of Amona. Today, WIG went down with a truck jammed full of beds, sheets, kitchen equipment, dried food, toilet paper, pens and games for the children and MORE, much more...The response to our truck load was great! Our hearts are "warmed", they said, "at your love". For our part we saw their courage; the rebuilding...

UPDATE

Soldiers Were Tricked Into Guarding Kiryat Arba Destruction

How did it happen that yeshiva students in the Givati Brigade took part in the military operation to destroy the Federman-Tor farm and homes three nights ago? Very simple: Senior security commanders lied to them and told them they were participating in a mission to help catch a terrorist.

Ro'i Sharon, reporter for the Maariv daily newspaper, revealed that it was feared that the young soldiers would refuse to take part in the mission if they knew it was not military but rather one of destroying Jewish homes. "This creates mistrust between echelons in the military framework, and is liable to cost human life. In the next security incident, the residents won't believe the security forces, and the soldiers won't believe their commanders."

A member of Hevron's emergency alert team, which generally works closely with the army, was quoted as saying: "This creates mistrust between echelons in the military framework, and is liable to cost human life. In the next security incident, the residents won't believe the security forces, and the soldiers won't believe their commanders."

"It is sad that for the purpose of destroying two Jewish homes, they cause such harm to the delicate security relations here," the man said.

Border Guard officials confirmed that the soldiers had been tricked. "The sensitivity of the incident required us to maintain high secrecy," a Border Guard source told Maariv.

Pictures (and less than 1000 words)

On September 24th, the Women in Green group drove out to Samaria, Shomron, the heartland of Israel, which is too often portrayed as the home of Jewish extremists threatening local Arabs.

In fact, of course, it is miles of green, rolling hills with fabulous, productive Jewish communities, serving as the real defence of the lowlands of Israel. From these hills one can see Tel Aviv, Hadera, Netanya, etc. spread out below, which are in fact 'only a Katyusha rocket away', if the Arabs got their long-held dream of driving the Jews from their homes.

Here are two pictures Gemma Blech photographed.

House Destroying

Here's the poster, "A TIME TO DESTROY":-

The Hebrew at the top reads, in translation:

The Arab Enemy is in Jerusalem!

Arising from the 'Shiva' - and Doing an Act

Destroying the House of the Terrorist

And here's the public announcement made in its connection:

A week has passed since the massacre in the "Merkaz Harav" Yeshiva but the house of the Arab terrorist has not been destroyed yet. In the absence of any effective government, it is the people who must show the way. WOMEN in GREEN call upon all to join the call of the bereaved families to go and destroy the house, this coming SUNDAY, March 16th, 2008, at 5:00PM.

Meet in Jerusalem on the Promenade (Tayelet) of Armon Hanatziv. From there march to the house in Jabbel Mukhaber.

The more people show up, the more the demand to destroy the house will be listened to.

Even if you can't walk all the way, at least show up at the Promenade.

Buses to the Promenade: 8,12,7,74,30,163

Israel's Frustrated Left

Over the years, Israel's Left have sought to blame the continued administration of the disputed territories, i.e., those portions of the Jewish historical homeland not yet fully under Israel's sovereignty, what I refer to as YESHA, for all sorts of ills.

There was domestic violence (after all, soldiers beat up Pals. in ther reserve army duty and come home to do the same), petty criminal activity, serious mafia-like bombings and other items including loud and loutish behavior in public places. Their frustration at their political impotence, not to mention their inadeqaute ideology, makes them angry at us. We need for them to be their scapegoat.

I am guessing that some lefty will read this and try to come up with a parallel phenomenom here.

A new study has found that many more women are leaving economically moribund Eastern Germany. The result is a new, frustrated and largely male underclass. And many of them find succor in the neo-Nazi scene.

...a new study released by the Berlin Institute for Population and Development [indicates that] there is another problem that accompanies the migration. Since 1991, more than two-thirds of all those who have left Eastern Germany have been women. The result is that in many towns in the region, there are simply not enough to go around -- some places are missing up to 25 percent of their young women. Even worse, the young men who stay behind are often poorly educated, unemployed and frustrated -- perfect fodder for neo-Nazi groups looking for members.

"In general," the study finds, "right-wing radical parties receive more votes in those areas where the most young women have left."

But it won't work.

We aren't frustrated.

Joint Statement

Joint Statement by Mattot Arim, Professors for a Strong Israel and Women in Green:

Jews Abroad, Do Not Remain Silent At This Time!

a. We would like to alert Jewish communities and Jewish leaders worldwide that the U.S. State Department and members of the Quartet, in conjunction with unpopular Israeli Prime Minister Olmert are, at this time, initiating a new political process to push forward the establishment of still another Islamic state, this time in Judea and Samaria. This alarming development has been reported in the past few weeks by leading newspapers such as the Washington Post and Boston Globe, and was corroborated by the Prime Minister's Statement to the Conference of Presidents on 6 February.

b. Israel's recent attempt to set up a Palestinian entity in the Gaza Strip, by expelling the Jews and handing over the land and resources to Gazan Arabs, has resulted in the degeneration of peaceful, Jewish Gush Katif into violent, chaotic, terror-ridden Gush Hamas. Since no one has any idea how to handle the Gaza fiasco, how to stop the steady flow of armaments into Palestininan Gaza or even how to bring a stop to the internal bloodshed, it is absolutely clear that that same disastrous experiment should not be repeated in Judea and Samaria.

c. It is also clear that the fall of Judea and Samaria will inevitably lead to the fall of the only Jewish state in the world. Judea and Samaria directly overlook Israel's population centers as well as Israel's major international airport. Whoever controls Judea and Samaria controls, not only Israel's chief water resources, but also the skies of Israel, that no amount of security measures can guarantee. An additional Islam state can only spell disaster, not only to the future of Israel, but to the safety and security of the entire Western world. Rewarding terror begets more terror.

d. Consequently, we urge all Jews: Conservative, Orthodox and Reform; left and right; rabbis, leaders, lay persons and members of the Jewish press; and all friends of Israel wherever they may be, not to remain silent at this difficult time. It is incumbent upon all who hold Israel and her people dear to their hearts, to publicly intercede on Israel's behalf.

e. Israel needs your help now, to thwart this existential danger! Every Jew and every friend of Israel can be of immediate individual assistance by personally contacting their local leaders, Jewish organizations and media to express their deep concern about the Palestinian-state track, and to demand immediate action, particularly in the United States, to thwart this danger. Pressure from abroad will serve to strengthen the strong grass-roots movements in Israel that work around the clock against the creation of another terrorist state, this time in Judea and Samaria.
