In your correspondent's report on the murders of five Jewish civilians, including three children, one a 4-month old infant ("Suspecting Palestinians, Israeli Military Hunts for Killers of 5 West Bank Settlers" by Isabel Kershner, March 12), she wrote: "The military called the killings a terrorist attack, indicating that it held Palestinians responsible".
Would anyone else not think it was an attack of terror? Stabbing five sleeping persons in their beds would not be terror? As for holding "Palestinians responsible", would the conclusion be that Jews could perpetrate such an act on Jews?
