Let's Have a New Conspiracy Theory

Given the fact that there is no real organized popular opposition force in Egypt, that violence is fairly endemic in intra-communal relations (the Copts under attack for example), that the intellectuals are against the peace with Israel, that a real democratic cultural tradiiton is not in place and that the Muslim Brotherhood is an extreme fundamentalist power and anti-Israel (see Barry Rubin on this last section anjd there are many others), could it be that the deliberate sabotaging of regional stability by the Obama Administration in pressuring the Egyptian leadership to the edge is...

...purposeful?

That it stems from Barack Obama's radical progressive and pro-Muslim policies?

And that the Administration thinks this is the the best method, at present, to weaken Israel, given that all previous attempts have been thwarted?

Is that a conspiracy theory?

UPDATE

Lady B sent me this

Did Washington green light Mideast uprisings?

which includes this:

In regard to the nation of Egypt (which is at the brink of civil war as I write this), we have a Muslim-indoctrinated, anti-Israel American president insinuating himself into the political workings of the only major power in the Middle East that has been moderate with regard to Israel. On Feb. 1, WND's Aaron Klein revealed the secret machinations of the Obama administration in support of the Muslim Brotherhood's campaign to topple Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak.

The Muslim Brotherhood – which is dedicated to the implementation of Shariah law on a global level. There shouldn't be much question as to Obama's twofold motivations here: to coalesce Muslim influence in the Middle East and compromise the security of Israel.

Yet, even some prominent conservatives fail to see what is unmistakable to others: a regional Islamic uprising impelled by an American government that has promised some form of cooperation, and misrepresented as a democratic insurgency by Washington and the news media in order to assuage Americans' concerns.

Who knew?

I think we are dealing with people who believe what they say and know less than they should. I think a critical aspect here is that this is not a State Department policy but a White House policy. State has been a stronghold for the pro-status quo, incumbent, national interests' approach. And in the White House they don't know what they are doing.

I mean these are the kind of people who think that the Palestine Papers and the Egyptian revolution are going to help the peace process. they are people who can't believe anyone could really be radical (except a conservative American), I'd drop this issue.

But if it's any comfort to you (lol) look at it this way: if they are always hostile we know precisely what they will do. In reality (as Egypt shows) they are totally unpredictable.
