Hillary Clinton, as I blogged, spoke at the Saban Center last week.
Besides terming my Zionist efforts as "corrosive", she tried her best - which is just not good enough.
For example, she announced that "The United States will always be there when Israel is threatened.”
I will skip the part where you ask yourself, if there is peace, why should Israel be threatened. Let's stick to what actualy happens.
Last month, North Korea attacked South Korea killing dozens of people. Besides having nuclear weapons, what prevented the US from really helping out South Korea?
Moreover, isn't that the scenario we currently face with Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in South Lebanon and what will be worse if Iran goes nuclear?
If the US does nothing now, why should Israel place itself willingly in a future scenario that is exactly what South Korea suffers from today?
