Gaydamak - On the (Electoral) Move

Arkady Gaydamak is running a neat poster campaign on buses and billboards in Jerusalem.

This one highlights his "saving" of the downtown Bikkur Cholim Hospital that he seems to have purchased:-



The slogan reads: Jerusalem, You Deserve More. The renewed Bikkur Cholim. Facing the Future.

The above advertisement concerns an 85-year old letter of recommendation to the Knesset Yisrael Yeshivah written by the Chofetz Chaim, R' Meir Kagan, requesting that a student, one Chaim Gaydamak, be accepted to the Yeshiva, now known as the Hebron Yeshiva.

These should well endear him to a major voting bloc in Jerusalem for the mayoralty elections soon. The Hareidi Bloc.
