From a report on the Sacha Baron Cohen's new film promotion with the press:
On his military uniform, supposedly made by disgraced Christian Dior designer John Galliano, who was charged with anti-Semitic hate speech in France:
“Well, I love Galliano. Say what you want about his avante-garde style and his fashion approach, but the guy does hate Jews.”
When an Israeli journalist stepped to the mic for the last question, Cohen demanded to see the man's circumcision as proof of his Judaism.
“As long as you write good reviews, your families will be released,” he said before storming off the stage, his comely security guards in tow.
At 2 minutes or so in the clip there, he takes down the UN over inaction to Syria - "remember, you can always do less".

Sacha Baron Cohen Plays With Anti-Semitism
A Jew goes overboard.
The clip is here.
Too clever by half - and for his and our own good.
Problem with Jewish comedians - they have a propensity for making too much fun of their own. Not everyone is Jewish in the entertainment world (and therefore get the inside joke) and not everything is kosher for money and publicity.

Reported:
This afternoon on The Dictator movie’s spoof website for the fictional Middle Eastern country of ‘The Republic Of Wadiya’, an explosive notice was posted. (Obviously by Sacha Baron Cohen as his title character in The Dictator.):
“Admiral General Aladeen will deliver a formal response tomorrow morning [Friday] to being banned from The Oscars by the Academy Of Motion Pictures Arts And Zionists.”
The Dictator is a spoof about the “heroic story of a Middle Eastern dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy never comes to the country he so lovingly oppressed”. Whether the fact that the 84th Academy Awards will be beamed into 200 countries had anything to do with Baron Cohen being banned from the Oscars was unclear. But it now looks like the Jewish comedian is taking on the normally verboten subject of Hollywood and Jews and Muslims. Oy vey!

A "Doe" for Sacha
In the past, I commented on Sacha Baron Cohen's new up-coming wife (but already the mother of his child)
And now:

And now:
Isla denied reports she was still studying to convert from Methodist to Judaism.
The former Home And Away star said: 'I converted as of two years ago. It is always reported that I am still studying, so I am either the slowest studier in the world, or I have, in fact, converted.'

When asked how she feels about taking on her Hebrew name Ayala or 'Doe', she said: 'I never saw it as a losing or gaining situation, just an embracing situation.
'I think if one wanted to be buried next to one's beloved and they were Jewish, then one would have to be Jewish, too.'
