Oh, her connection to Israel is much more than just this:

During the Lebanon-Israel war later that year, Ms. Geller video-blogged from an Israeli beach, flicking water at the camera, arching her bikini-bared back provocatively and equating Palestinians with Hamas.

But she responds:

Won't Fort Lauderdale be surprised to find out that the Zionist war machine is now occupying Florida beaches? Richer still was their reference to "arching her bikini-bared back provocatively." Please. I was submerged in the water with my kids in the background. Talk about easily titillated! I never arched my back except to swim away. They've been spending too much time with the Taliban. And they fault me for equating Palestinians with Hamas. The Palestinians elected Hamas, but who cares?

I have some bloggers in mind and the first one I'll enter is Pam Geller of Atlas Shrugs.

Why?

I have been in contact with Pamela for over three years now and have found her to be not only a powerful blogger with an independent voice on Jewish and Israel issues but one who has broken news stories, initiated major investigative topics, and acted outside the blogger universe taking on powerful forces. As such, she is an amazing phenomenon of public activity involvement as well as a motivational figure for many of us.

McCain also raised the specter of illegal foreign donors to Obama's
campaign and special "earmark" spending requests for campaign fundraisers. "Why has Sen. Obama refused to disclose the names of people funding his campaign,"
McCain said as the crowd booed. "His campaign had to return $33,000 in illegal
foreign funds from Palestinian donors."

McCain's reference was based on a Newsweek article that said Obama's campaign had returned the money to two brothers living in the Gaza Strip. According to the article, the two Palestinians "had bought T-shirts in bulk from the campaign's online store. They had listed their address as 'Ga.,' which the campaign took to mean Georgia rather than Gaza."
