Israel is So Provocative

I've read that

Jordan...condemned the deployment of Israeli occupation troops and security forces inside Al Aqsa Mosque Complex.  Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani warned against the illegal Israeli measures, saying that allowing Jewish extremists to enter Islam’s third holiest site under the protection of occupation forces would ignite religious extremism in the region.

...Jordan’s Ambassador in Tel Aviv Walid Obeidat officially informed the Israeli foreign ministry of the Kingdom’s condemnation and rejection of Israel’s escalatory measures in the complex, known to Muslims as Al Haram Al Sharif, by preventing the entry of worshippers into the mosque.

I was wondering:

can non-"extremists" enter?

Local protest:

UPDATE

AMMAN, June 4, 2014 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas condemned on Wednesday the repeated assaults by Israeli Knesset members and settlers, under the protection of Israeli police, on al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, calling on the Arab and Islamic world to make prompt decisions and real steps to protect and defend it.

He warned of the danger of the ongoing Israeli excavations beneath the mosque, rendering it liable to collapse at any moment.

Abbas called upon the Kingdom of Jordan, the Jerusalem Committee, Organization of Islamic Conference as well as the Arab leaders to uphold their responsibility and safeguard the mosque.

Meanwhile, Abbas decided to attend the Jeddah-based conference of the Organization of Islamic Conference scheduled on the 18th of June in light of the danger facing al-Aqsa mosque and other religious Muslims and Christian sites.
