Je T'Aime Shiloh

Looking for something on Shiloh, my home town, I came across this clip of a song in French sung by Nadege from the Gael group, Le Groupe Adorons L'Eternel (GAEL), a Gospel Musical Group from Congo Kinshasa. They base their music on Praises and worships. Most of the time sing in Lingala but also sing in French like this very inspiring song sang by Nadege. As it has not direct overt reference to anything not Jewish, here it is (lyrics below):

Shilo

Tu t'appelles : Je suis !
Pour me dire : Je sais !

Ta parole me purifie et ton sang me justifie, Shilo !
Ta puissance me régénère.

Put your life into me ,
By the waters of your spirit
Create in me a new heart
I pray In your name : I am
    To say : I know
Because nothing can disturb my heart at peace.
If I have to tell you a word
Beyong all my words to you
    Oh I love you shilo

Shilo put your name in my mind , otherwise I do not know I live in your life.
Shilo your glory illuminates my whole self
In name of your love I live

Hold my hand on the way
Just place your hands upon me
Spread your love, shine through my tomorrow's.
At the palace beloved where grave made me reign

Just take me in the wrong,
Established in my heart what it takes

    Your power regenerates me ,
Your mind in me reveals the greatness of your being

Shilo your glory illuminates my whole self
In name of your love I live

Shilo put your name in my mind , otherwise I do not know I live in your life.
Shilo your glory illuminates my whole self
In name of your love I live

    Oh shilo
    I love you shilo
    You are my life
    O shilo
You who wiped away my tears
    Oh its you!
Oh my heart , I rise
    My heart blesses you shilo
    My heart exalts you
    Shilo be high
    Be blessed , shilo
    Be blessed shilo

I did a research I'm from Congo-Kinshasa , I knew shilo was not a word in lingala so I looked it up Shilo is a word in hebrew for messiah.
I hope the lyrics are useful :)

    1. Thank you for the English translation. It sure speaks of Shiloh with so many old and new testament references; His Spirit, His Life, His Word, His blood, His cleansing, His peace, His keeping power, His regeneration. Enter in and worship our risen Saviour.

  10. Thanks.
Shiloh can be a location, a period of time, a person's name, a symbol for Messiah.

  14. This song is the best, also It's an Haitian song. I'm Haitian and I love It very much. But the problem is that Gael is not going to be able to write any more songs because she's dead.

    1. Dear, it’s not a Haitian song. The founding father of the group, Gael, from Congo (DRC), is dead, not the person singing the song.
