Killing Terrorists Never a Mistake

I found a story about Avi Dichter's incapability of appearing at a conference in the UK. He headed the Shin Beth agency between 2000 and 2005 and helped plan the assassination of Hamas military commander Saleh Shehada in July 2002.

The story claimed:-

In the face of international condemnation, including Israel's main ally the US, Israel conducted an investigation and concluded that the raid had been a "mistake".

I don't think the raid was a mistake. Perhaps the planning. Perhaps the intelligence provided. Killing terrorists, and in this case arch-terrorists, is never a mistake.
