You Mean "Palestine" Was Empty?
From south to north, looking out over the Hebrew University Mt. Scopus campus with military cemetery at top and the Hadassah Hospital complex as yet built:
and to be completely fair, it also could have been as early as WW I when the British and Germans were taking loads of aerial photos although since I spy the Hebrew U. buildings there, I would vote for 1930 as a comrpomise.
When was this picture taken?
ReplyDeleteIf the cornerstone was laid in 1934, it was before then.
