Jordan - A Denouncing and Rejectionist State

First, contemplate this picture:

And then consider this:

Jordan denounces Israeli raid of Al Aqsa Mosque
Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani stressed Jordan’s rejection of any form of aggression against Al Aqsa Mosque and against the freedom of worship.
Momani criticised the Israeli occupation troops for randomly shooting rubber bullets at worshippers, including the elderly, women and children, which led to violent confrontations at Al Aqsa Mosque and a great deal of damage and destruction to the compound’s gates for the second time since the beginning of this year.
Israeli forces raided the mosque, the third holiest site in Islam, from the Bab Al Magharbeh entrance and clashed with Palestinian worshippers on Friday.

And this in a second story:

Momani urged the international community to pressure the Israeli occupation authorities to end these violations that undermine U.S and international efforts to ensure the success of the peace process.   He said preserving the Islamic and Christian holy sites and supporting Jerusalemites and gaurds and staff of the Awqaf of Jerusalem, are a top priority for His Majesty King Abdullah II.

Another reason for a lack of rationality, of sensibility and eventually, of peace.

They are always doing this.

Oh, and by the way, more news from Jordan:-

AMMAN — The Lower House on Saturday reiterated its rejection of any Mideast peace deal that could lead to the recognition of Israel as a “Jewish state”.In a statement issued on Saturday, the Lower House stressed the Palestinian people’s right to have their own independent state within the pre-June 4, 1967 border, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

P.S.

This LA Times terminology bothers me:

Israeli police clashed with protesters in the area of Jerusalem’s Old City known as the Noble Sanctuary to Muslims and the Temple Mount to Jews.

Maybe inform us how Christians refer to the location, too, already?
