A Bit of Diplomacy

I had two guests at my home Friday: Naftali Bennet, Yesh Council director, who together with Dany Dayan, Yesha Council Chairman, have revitalized the Council in many ways, and a political officer for the US Consulate-General in Jerusalem:

I have been in contact with representatives of the State Department and diplomats of the US Consulate General in Jerusalem for some 27 years in an attempt to assure that the rights, the opinions and the activities of the Jewish revenant residents of Judea and Samaria, and earlier Gaza, be afforded the best hearing possible in that it is also in America's interests that Israel retain these areas.
