Tamimi Is A Pal. Problem, One of "Projection"

What was really outrageous about Tamimi's remarks last night was not the ferociousness of them nor their political character or even how true his words were.

As I just checked watching the TV report, he blamed Israel for following a Rabbinical decision of Jewish Law - Halacha - to be permitted to kill civilians.

In other words, he is spreading a warped view of the political situation, colored by his rabid religious outlook, predicated on his projection on Israel what he himself actually wants done: an Islamic fatwa of genocide against Israel.

Of course, that isn't new but the Pope, if not the Chief Rabbis at least, need to be aware of what's really going on.

Tamimi is an historic Pal. problem.

Just last month:

The Palestinian Authority has issued yet another warning to Palestinians against selling their homes or properties to Jews, saying those who violate the order would be accused of "high treason" - a charge that carries the death penalty.

The latest warning was issued on Wednesday by the Chief [Islamic] Judge of the Palestinian Authority, Sheikh Tayseer Rajab Tamimi, who reminded the Palestinians of an existing fatwa [religious decree] than bans them from selling property to Jews.

As blogged back in 2005:

There's Al-Tamimi, the Palestinian Authority's Chief of Judges and chairman of its Islamic law high council. He uttered these words: "Islam is escalating and cannot be resisted. I pray that Allah may tear apart America just as the Soviet Union was torn apart."

...In 1994, Al-Tamimi said, "The Jews are destined to be persecuted, humiliated, and tortured forever, and it is a Muslim duty to see to it that they reap their due. No petty arguments must be allowed to divide us. Where Hitler failed, we must succeed."

...In March 2000, Al-Tamimi delivered a hate speech during the Pope's visit to Jerusalem, accusing Israel of "genocide" and "strangling Jerusalem." He called on Christians to join Muslims in a jihad to oust Jews from all of Israel. In a recent Palestinian Authority appearance, Al-Tamimi defamed late Israeli Prime Minster Golda Meir, claiming she and the Israelis conspired to burn down the Al-Aqsa Mosque [which Muslims built on top of the Jewish Temple]. He decreed Jews have no right to pray at the "Cave of the Patriarchs," (where Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are buried), one of the holiest of Jewish sites, which Al-Tamimi claims is a mosque. "Jews have no right to claim any bond or connection . . . . Jews are foreign interlopers."

And check this out.

I dont'know why everyone's saying the "pope walked out", as if he protested, I saw the video, it didn't even look like he knew why others were taking him out...and that was after Tamimi finished talking anyway, & they shook hands on the way out. Why are Israel lovers trying to make the pope look good, he is your enemy, wake up.

The usurpers feign outrage over words but gleefully support the massacre of thousands.

Also, the author of this blog isn't "inquisitive." He's a third-rate propagandist. Enjoy the company of fringe morons like Debbie Schlussel.

Again islamofascists tell their true beliefs and don't bother with fake feel-good peace for all sound bites.

Israelis should respond with even more uncompromising speech.

The ONLY THING islamofascists respect is POWER and STRENGTH.

Any glimmer of accommodation is as WEAKNESS to be exploited to achieve their clearly stated goals

Israel needs to CRUSH the eliminationist dreams and hopes of islamofascists - continual NAKBA.
