Fighting The Internal Subversion

Here is an example of what true Zionism in Israel faces:

...As the fighting rolls on in the South, the battle for public opinion rages around the world. Hamas, forever cynical in their tactics – are intentionally firing rockets at Israeli civilian population centers while cowering behind kindergartens, schools, hospitals, and places of worship – using their own people as human shields. In response, Israel is working hard to defend itself, while risking life and limb to minimize civilian casualties. As Israel works hard to make its case heard across the world, another more urgent front has opened up in this war – the battle for Israeli public opinion. Israel is unable to pursue this campaign of self-defense without the continued and ongoing support of the Israeli public. Unfortunately, many parts of Israeli society are working hard to undermine this campaign, swaying public support against it, and causing the Israeli government to falter.

Over the past few days, Israel’s universities have been transformed into a hotbed of anti-Israel activity. Hamas flags are seen flying proudly over crowds of hundreds of Arab students chanting slogans of incitement against Israel as onlookers watch and listen in fear. Though these terrifying scenes look more like an enemy rally than an Israeli university, they are covered favorably by the Israeli media, helping to sway public opinion against Israel’s right to self-defense, and leading the Israeli government to backtrack in its pursuit of self-defense.

We cannot sit idly by as these cynics take cruel advantage of Israel’s remarkable tolerance in order to undermine Israel’s very right to exist. Unfortunately, these repeated pernicious attacks on Israel’s collective psyche are succeeding in tearing apart Israel’s moral resolve. Im Tirzu has mobilized to meet this growing threat, rapidly organizing large pro-Israel rallies in campuses across the country, drawing thousands of students who had until now remained silent. For the first time in their lives, these students are showing their pride in their country, supporting Israel’s right to defend herself and her citizens from terrorist attacks. The huge turnouts at these events have forced the media to cover them, and the coverage has helped turn back the tide of public opinion towards supporting the ongoing campaign to protect the lives of Israel’s citizens.

As these anti-Israeli protests continue to escalate, Im Tirzu is the main force working within Israeli society to build and maintain the vital public support for the ongoing campaign. We are working hard to organize additional events to help keep the Israeli public strong and supportive of their soldiers and government in their hour of need. But we cannot do it without your help. We need your generous support at this critical juncture in order to ensure that the government and the IDF can continue their vital role of defending the Jewish State.
