I imagine you have read that both Moshe Feiglin and Boaz Haetzni have written that they OPPOSE a large-scale ground operation into Gaza because the Left would then leverage that into either bringing foreign forces in to YESHA, or carrying out a large withdrawal in YOSH, as a price (willingly paid) for international acquiesence to said operation. Another possibility is they would simply turn over Gaza, which would be conquered with our young men's blood over to their "friend and peace partner" Abu Mazen and then say that we can now make big concessions to him since the "bad extremist" HAMAS would then be seemingly out of the picture. Don't forget that Olmert said explicitly during the Lebanon II war that he was going to use the political capital he would get out of being shown to be a "tough guy" (Sharon-style) to turn the IDF against the Jews of YOSH afterwards.<BR/>On the other hand, how can we just abandon the people of Sederot to their fate. The fact that we have this despicable Hellenist gov't puts us into terrible dilemmas.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
